A Google Sheets dashboard to track your 401(k), IRA and investments over time — so you can see retirement getting closer month by month.

How much will you have at retirement?

This free retirement calculator projects your nest egg by combining what you’ve already saved with your monthly contributions, compounded at your expected annual return until your retirement age. It also estimates the monthly income that pot could safely provide.

What’s the 4% rule?

The 4% rule is a common guideline suggesting you can withdraw about 4% of your nest egg in the first year of retirement (adjusted for inflation after) with a low risk of running out over 30 years. This calculator uses it to turn your nest egg into an estimated monthly income.

Why starting early matters so much

Because of compounding, contributions you make in your 20s and 30s do far more work than the same amount in your 50s. Try changing your current age above — even a few years earlier makes a large difference to the final number.

Projections only help if you follow through. The Net Worth Tracker lets you log your accounts each month, and the Compound Interest Calculator shows how a single lump sum grows.
